Состоялся релиз phpBB версии 3.0.5!
Новые возможности и важные изменения:


• Added and refined CAPTCHA options to better protect against new version of CAPTCHA crackers.
• Added an option to the registration screen to allow users to refresh the displayed CAPTCHA.
• Performance improvements for native fulltext search.
• Addeda new search option. The admin can define the maximum number of wordsallowed to search for. This option gives control about the maximumsearch load.
• Search indexing should no longer stall for some installations.
• Conflicting files are able to be downloaded now within the automatic updater for manual inspection.
• Thedatabase updater now checks for an incompatible database schema in casethe database version got updated. The admin will be notified aboutpossible solutions and repair scripts.
• We now set theconnection encoding for MySQL versions 4.1.0 to 4.1.2. This may fixsome conversion issues with special characters.
• Language pack authors now see errors/notices within their language pack if they enabled DEBUG_EXTRA.
• Flash files now display again after update to flash player 10.

ну вот как с тем несметным количеством установленных на моем форуме модов я могу обновить версию?
знать бы какие файлы точно я не затрагивал при установке модов, чтобы их перезалить

тогда всё таки тебе лучше автоматом обновиться, затем накатать моды заново (если слетят), а то в ручную до 3.0.5 по очереди версии обновлять сума сойдёшь

я как увидел сколько фалов из папки NEW обновится, понял что проще смириться и дожить с версией 3.0.2
если начну обновлять - завалю форум, моды слетят 100%
что еще за собой потянет обновление можно только догадываться
просто нет выхода

по-нашему, по-русски, пока гром не грянет и т.д.

уже очевидно, что нужен какой-то другой подход к установке модов на форум
я старался максимально улучшить форум устанавливая моды, но этим, как оказалось, загнал в тупик возможность обновлять версии форума

Я все же думаю, что тебе есть смысл обновиться полностью - накатить все файлы и сделать апдейт базы (дело нескольких минут), а потом переставить моды, но теперь видя их список и список измененных файлов.

Стоит модов штук 25-30 и разных мелких изменений, версия форума 3.0.4. Уважаемые Гуру, как посоветуете обновиться, автоматом или вручную, что бы не слетели моды?

Обновился уже кто-нибудь автоапдейтером при достаточном количестве модов (портал, галерея, seo mod и т.п.)?

Попробовал обновится автоапдейтером (предварительно сделав все бэкапы). Сразу посыпались ошибки, кэши все чистил. Попытался исправить но ошибки валились отовсюду, поэтому вернул все обратно, моего ума не хватит все исправить, буду ждать обновление модом. Хотя когда делал автоапдейтером и сравнивал файлы, вроде все должно было пройти успешно, но...
