[FAQ] Обновление phpBB 3.2.x/3.3.x to phpBB 3.2.x/3.3.x

• Скачать базовый установочный пакет 3.2.x или 3.3.x (они же Full Package на phpbb.com) с обновлённой версией форума.
• Отключить конференцию, создать резервные копии базы данных и файлов форума.
• Если вы обновляетесь с phpBB 3.2.x до 3.3.x, то перед обновлением отключите все расширения, так как среди них могут оказаться несовместимые с новой версией движка форума. Узнать о том, какие расширения несовместимы, можно у авторов этих расширений и/или на форумах поддержки phpBB Guru и phpbb.com.
• Удалить файлы phpBB устаревшей версии, КРОМЕ:
  config.php
  папки /ext
  папки /files
  папки /images
  папки /store
  папки /styles

NB! папку со стандартным prosilver следует удалить и заменить из обновленной версии.
Если вы используете модифицированный или нестандартный стиль, то его следует обновить до последней версии, либо самостоятельно внести правки.

• Скопировать все файлы phpBB (с заменой) обновляемой версии (кроме config.php) в папку, где находится phpBB
• Скачать обновлённый языковой пакет (ru) и скопировать папки ext, language, styles из архива в папку, где находится phpBB
• Ввести в адресной строке и запустить/install/app.php/update (после имени домена и пути к форумам).

После успешного обновления необходимо удалить или переименовать папку /install.

первый раз с таким сталкиваюсь, до этого в 3.2.1 всё выключалось и работало

Gubkin, бэкап есть? Если да, то отключите всю что можно, а это оставьте и обновляйтесь - ничего страшного не должно случиться

Такая ситуация возникает с любым расширением,

но не на всех версиях движка, преимущественно на старых

А почему возникает надпись желтого цвета: No valid update directory was found, please make sure you uploaded the relevant files. (Не найден каталог обновлений, убедитесь, что вы загрузили соответствующие файлы.)
Т.е. обновляется только БД? В логе администратора так и записано: Обновлена база данных с версии 3.2.1 до версии 3.2.3.

Потому что файлы обновляются перезаливкой

Не могу обновиться, скачиваю архив с файлом и все равно не пускает дальше.

COB16, почему не обновили все файлы до запуска install'а? Зачем используете полный пакет обновления?

оно 2 раза предложило скачать фалы, второй архив заменил и все равно опять показывает на этот файл

По вопросу - что-то отредактировалось не так и теперь надо вручную вылавливать что (только если правок в движке нет, то зачем?)

COB16, надо решить похоже все вопросы с изменёнными файлами, вчера обновлялся, мудился часа 2, что-то удалял в файлах форума, инсталятор автоматически заменял файлы новыми.
У меня список на скрине приведённом не влез бы в экран)
