А например такая вещь:
при регистрации нового человека отдельное окно было которое либо появлялось либо еще как нить с приветствием нового зарегистрированного

У меня была идея мода приветствующая новичков в ЛС, но я не получил поддержки в его разработки, по этому мой мод будет готов не скоро, но есть подобный мод уже готовый, поищи на этом форуме он упомянался... (правда он давольно запаренный, мне он не понравился)

Я видел реализацию Welcom PM на IPB - мне там очень понравилось.
В предложеный вами вариантах, мне не нравиться оформление ЛС

А если я хочу туда ссылок? как-то обормить?

Нельзя ли сделать так, что бы от высылал ЛС (как в BirthDay MOD) для ЛС-ки специальный .tpl фаил?

а нельзя сделать так, что бы лс приходило? Вот зарегился человек, зашел на портал, а ему всплывающее окошко Типа . Привет*** Спасибо за регистрация на нашем портале и.т.д и.т.п.
