Lenin если вебсервер и майскл сервер на доном хосте то пиши локалхост и не ошибешься.
откуда и куда снес юзерей?

Зашел впервые в жизни в phpmyadmin, а там есть два юзера, один root, другой не помню, guest или типа того.

ну я и снес всех, думал там создать себя - а оно после рестарта вообще не запускается, ну я ручками в ini файлах полазил, теперь уже совсем ничего не работает (mySQL - красный семафор)..

на днях придется с железом разбираться - хард один отвалился, а потом наверное сделаю реинсталл - слишком много за один раз для меня и маны больно пухлые ;)

этих юзверов не надо удалять не в коем случае, так что тебе всеравно прийдется делать реинсталл, бес тех юзверов, не работает phpMyadmin. У мен ятоже так было , пришлось все переустанавливать, но мне проще у меня денвер, и я все на нам настриавою, и не имю проблем, понимаю что старое, но работае отлично.

Здравствуйте. Я тоже скачал форум версии: phpBB-2.0.10-2. Но не где не нашел подробную инструкции по установке. (В нормальную платный хост :) ) Я знаю там внутри есть по английский(только не говорите что читайте там)
Так если вам не трудно пишите с начала как, куда и что писать в настойках. Или можеть знаете где написано, ссылку. Спасибо всем. Жду ответа.

Давай я тебе установлю форум без лишних вопросов.
Script path
Это путь относительно корня каталога
Если ты устанавливаеш форум в корневой каталог то писать нечего не надо, только /.
Если в папке форум, то пишеш /forum
Если че не понятно, стучись в аську или ко мне на форум.

В инсталляции в поле Script path: -- что надо писать? Я понимаю это путь скрипта. Но откуда мне это взять? Где он находится?
ну где он находится мы должны у тебя спросить.
знаю там внутри есть по английский(только не говорите что читайте там)
а почему не говорить? там все написано, еще можно почитать статьи на сайте, но мы же ленивые нам лень найти что читать нам надо разжевать все.

Дело в том что ангил. я не знаю. :)
А статьи в сайте я читал. (не только здесь в сайте) Честно. И сейчас пишу в форум. (и не только суда) Разве я ленивый? :) Ну бывает иногда не получается у человека.

Извиняюсь за оффтоп, но это лишь дружеский совет :wink:

webclub, зайдя на твой форум и обозрев скин, а также немного почитав твой форум я заметил, одну маленькую недоделку в скине, которую можно устранить самостоятельно. Скин у тебя с
http://www.forumimages.com/, как впрочем и у меня, так что со скинами именно этих разработчиков я знаком достаточно, и могу давать советы по их доработке. Так вот...,кнопка "профиль" у тебя на форуме сжата и смотрится неестественно, т.к. размер её 59x18, а должен быть 74x18. Как же это исправить? Очень просто-
В папке самого скина(fisubice) лежит файл fisubice.cfg, в нём есть такие строки

На самом деле это не место для выкладывания такого длинного кода (тем более оффтопного) - для этого есть ЛС или, в крайнем случае, соотв. форум.
Что же касается непосредственно поста - можете оформить его в мини-гайд и мы выложим его у себя в статьях (или в "Tips&Tricks").
